Hilton Plein, Board Member CEO
Hilton Plein founded PaperExchange.com in 1997, leading the company through its formation, product development, expansion, and eventual exit. His expertise spans management, consulting, budgeting, and system development.
Before launching PaperExchange.com, Hilton held leadership roles in the healthcare insurance sector, where he oversaw system architecture and database management. Prior, he directed technology-driven modernization efforts in the publishing industry, implementing innovative solutions for personalized customer catalogs. Earlier in his career, he managed budgeting, planning, and Executive Information Systems (EIS) in the packaging industry, where he played a key role in developing one of the world’s largest EIS platforms in collaboration with senior executives.
Hilton holds an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and a Mathematics degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
Barry Pinchcofsky, Board Member CFO
Barry Pinchcofsky is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois. He earned a bachelor’s
degree in accounting from the University of Illinois. He has extensive experience
in public accounting, servicing a variety of clients in different industries
performing compilations, reviews, certified audits, consulting and tax services. He
also spent 24 years working as a CFO/COO for a large steel furniture manufacturer
with sales in excess of $35 million. He has extensive knowledge relating to steel
fabrication. At present he has a small individual CPA practice which caters to
various corporate and individual clients offering consulting and tax services.
Steve Jones, Advisory Board Member
Steven Glen Jones is best remembered for his stunning victory at the 1996 U.S. Open, one of the most unexpected triumphs in golf history. Considered an underdog heading into the tournament, he delivered a remarkable performance, edging out Tom Lehman and Davis Love III by a single stroke to capture his first and only major championship.
Jones was an All-American at the University of Colorado before earning his PGA TOUR card on his first attempt. His rise to prominence was marked by steady performances, including two top-10 finishes in 1994. By May 1996, he had already secured three top-10 finishes, setting the stage for his breakthrough victory at Oakland Hills.
Over a career spanning more than 30 years on the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions, Jones established himself as a consistent competitor. In addition to his U.S. Open title, he won nine PGA Tour events and made 446 PGA TOUR starts, solidifying his reputation as a formidable presence on the Tour. He also represented the United States in the 1996 World Cup of Golf, further highlighting his standing among the game’s elite.
Following his PGA TOUR career, Jones transitioned to the Champions Tour (now PGA TOUR Champions) in April 2011. Over the course of his tenure, he competed in 70 events, making 66 cuts and securing two top-10 finishes.
Jones’s resilience and dedication have left a lasting impact on the world of professional golf.
